Synopsis

Twenty-three-year-old Misho, a Syrian immigrant, sits in an empty room. His head bleeds as he is interrogated. Misho recounts, through flashbacks, the answers to each question, explaining how it is he's gotten to this very moment.  Living with three other roommates in a cramped one bedroom apartment in Watts, Misho struggles to find his footing. Through sheer charm, Misho lands a job as the groundskeeper on Anne-Marie's Beverly Hills estate and is thrust into a new upper class world. He soon learns this world of wealth is not as it appears to be on the outside, when complicated relationships give way to darker truths. As Misho chases his American dream, his volatile friends, who feel they were left behind, and his new found affair with his employer's estranged daughter threaten to undo him at any moment...
